My husband and I got married on the beach at this hotel on April 20th of 2010. Everything was absolutely PERFECT!!!! The staff was wonderful to our family and friends and took really great care of us through our entire stay. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, the pools & hot tub were so much fun, the bar by the pool was a big hit for all of us, the bartenders were amazing, the restaurant was cozy, the food was delicious, and we couldn't have picked a better place. We are DEFINITELY going back for an anniversary trip!!!

I cannot say enough good things about our time here. My husband and I were married on 9-10-11 on the beautiful beach in front of the hotel. From the moment we checked in, we were blown away. The place was absolutely beautiful. My bridesmaids, house party, and I rented one of the Penthouses and we were simply amazed at how nice it was. The whole place was clean, the guests were respectful and not rowdy, and the customer service was awesome. The accommodations were very nice but what totally blew me away was the customer service I received for our wedding. Jessica Young was our Event Coordinator/Fairy Godmother. From the first day I contacted her, I felt that I would be guaranteed the best wedding ever. I truly feel like I had the best wedding EVER and the best vendors. Jessica assembled an absolute Dream Team for our wedding and people are still talking about how wonderful it was. It was the smallest details that made the biggest difference. From the guestbook table setup and decorations to the way the sashes and napkins coordinated throughout the ballroom, it was truly a beautiful and fun night. Any busy bride to be who really wants a great wedding experience start to finish should definitely work with her and have their wedding here. Thank you HIFWB for the wonderful weekend and thank you Jessica for a wonderful experience I will treasure for the rest of our lives.

My granddaughter got married here on July 30, 2011. While we didn't use the wedding services (my mistake) we held the reception here. First and foremost, Jessica (the event planner) is amazing. She held my hand through the entire process. She is responsive and helpful and really knows her stuff. The reception room was gorgeous and the staff professional and friendly. The DJ kept the party going, playing a variety of music that kept people dancing all night. Finally, the food was amazing. Without a doubt, the entire staff made this a night that we will all remember for a very long time.

For our son's 6th birthday he asked if we could go to the beach instead of having a birthday party. We headed of to the Holiday Inn Resort at Ft. Walton Beach for two nights. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and spoke to us. They patiently listened to my kids tell of their experiences in the pool, at the Gulfarium etc. One staff member spoke with us on our way down to the beach and we happened to pass her in the hall on the way back to our room and she took time to ask if we had fun on the beach (she remembered us!) We normally just take day trips to the beach (since it's only a couple hours away), but this hotel has made us want to go more often and stay for several days when we go. Thank you for such a great stay! I also happened to be present as the desk clerk went above and beyond to assist a guest who had already checked out. He returned to ask for directions (I figured to a local attraction/restaurant). It turns out he was asking for directions back to his home state. The clerk never batted an eye; she looked up the directions on the computer using the address the man provided and printed them out for him.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST! My family and I love everything about the hotel,location, and staff. Whether you are looking for a quick weekend getaway or a week long stay this is perfect. All of the staff were very friendly. The Crab Cafe had delicious food. We usually stay in the traditional room (which are more than accommodating for the regular 4 person family), but next time I think we will try a stay in one of the suites. The hotel is perfectly placed a short drive from Big Kahuna's Water Park, Gulfarium, and shopping!! We love this place and plan on returning very soon.

i had so much fun last summer at this hotel. my youth group was attending the superwow conference and we absolutly loved this hotel! the pool was awesome, we definitly enjoyed the slide, and it was so close to the beach you basically walked 10 yards and you were there. the rooms were very nice and the veiw was amazing! our room was on the corner next to the pool and our chaperones could spot each of us running around like crazy whether we were at the pool or the beach. i would like to thank yall for a great vacation and i am coming back this year! thanks!

Just returned home from your hotel. We had a wonderful 4 night stay and the hotel and staff were very accomadating. The location is wonderful for touring around the entire area. The breakfast was great in the morning and the folks in the restaurant were just nice people. I used my priority club points on this stay and am very happy I picked this property. I met the manager on my way out and he was a charming guy and you could tell he was a gracious guy that aimed to please his guests. Could not be more pleased and look forward to returning to this property.
